Last weekend I went to Sussex and I'm now counting down the days until I can go back! I l o v e d it there. My friends and I stayed in Camber Sands, next to Rye for 4 days. We went there just as a little getaway and celebration for finishing university.

The first day we got there around 2 in the afternoon and we decided to check in, make our little apartment homely for us all, scope out where we were staying and get some food in the fridge for the weekend. We went into Hastings and sat on the beach for an hour on the evening which was bloomin' lovely! (I think we stopped at every beach we went past in this 45 minute journey, haha.) We live in the midlands and there isn't a beach in sight. Once we went back to the apartment and had our food we went into an arcade.

The second day we decided was going to be the day we went into Brighton. My one friend, Corey, had been there before so he was able to show us around. I fell in love with it instantly! The first thing we decided to do was walk along the beachfront to get onto the pier. As you can tell, we took every opportunity to be on the beach ;-) Louise and I are both terrified of seagulls, so, as you can probably imagine, walking along the pier was a lot of dodging the seagulls and walking into people. We had churros, spent lots of money in the arcade, won lots of tickets and soaked up the sun while having general chat and taking in the view!

If you're going into Brighton and are looking for things to do, I recommend going to the seafront and the pier. If you have a little more time definitely go into the lanes and have a look around at all the cute little shops! Louise and I watch youtube and have seen different bits of Brighton in vlogs so it was so nice to see it all in real life. We went into the Photomatic store, I highly recommend if you want a little keepsake. We went overboard and ended up taking lots of photos.

We also went into Boho Gelato, which we had heard Zoë rave over. So we decided to have a look for ourselves and see what the hype was about. I can honestly say, it lived up to the hype. I had Chocolate Raspberry and Louise had Honey and Banana. On the evening of our second day we went to the Camber Sands beach on the evening/night took a few drinks with us and decided to just have a little beach party. It was quite amusing!

Our penultimate day we decided to go into Brighton again but unfortunately Niall wasn't very well so it ended up just Louise and I going. We had more of a look at the little beach hut shops on the seafront and different parts of the lanes. We found really cute little market stalls and quaint jewellery stores. We thought we had seen everything in the first day we went, but we really hadn't! I wish we had of actually stayed in Brighton itself.

All of us all loved our little holiday and really want to go back. Hopefully we can all organise another one very soon! We were soooo lucky that the weather was lovely while we were there. Many great memories were made and I'm super grateful for Corey, Louise and Niall. Thank you for making the four days the best four days this year!

I am by no means at one with nature but I couldn't help but bring my camera along to a friendly outing and take some snaps for you guys, not all of you will appreciate this.. I understand.

I don't really go out and/or see my friends much now I've finished sixth form, we meet up for birthdays and for outing to the pub once in a while but that's all really. We all went our separate ways, working, becoming a hermit (ahah) and going on to learn new things. I've missed spending everyday except weekends with them so I decided to round everyone up and go to a really cute little park, well.. I say little, it's pretty big but hey ho! I brought my camera along for the journey and after pondering on the way to the park about what I could blog about next, this post came to mind..

I'm not sure how to say this without it sounding really cheesy and cringy.. but like I said above, I miss my friends and how close we were.

I went to my brothers graduation today (yes, there will be a post on it!) and one of the chancellors said "Don't forget where you came from, remember who your friends are and always keep in touch with them. You be the one to make sure everyone meets up at least once a year". It got me thinking and from now on I'm going to make sure we all see each other once a week even if its just going to the pub, going to a park, or even just driving around and having a chat. I just thought it would be a really nice idea to sort something out for us this summer before we all go our separate ways in September/October.

I just wanted to say that if you miss something.. do something about it. I did and now we're planning stuff to do weeks ahead!

P.s. Sorry for the cheesy post ;-)
