I haven't been into Topshop for a verrrrry long time so I thought I'd have a look on their website. I love online shopping more than actual shopping, I feel like I find way more. Here's what I'm wishing for from Topshop this month.
On Friday my best friend and I went to the Britain's Got Talent auditions, we went last year which was fun but we were in the circle as it's held in a theatre. This year we met up and went to get our tickets straight away, we got stall tickets. We didn't think anything of it until we got there and realised we were 3rd row and in the back of every single shot Simon Cowell was in.
We were so shocked at how good our seats were for a change! The girls next to us got a selfie with Simon as he walked into the theatre and we were so jealous. Between acts we have breaks and throughout the breaks Simon and David came over and spoke to the first couple of rows - it was so weird. The four of us started chanting "David, David, David!" at him and he loved it haha. I didn't realise how funny he actually was on the show.
This time around we only saw Ant and Dec. They made us laugh more than some of the contestants did. We had a mix bunch of acts throughout the time we were in the theatre. There were Dance Groups, Singers, Magicians, Yodellers, Musicians - you name it, we probably saw it. I must admit it is a long few hours, but if you don't mind then I'd recommend going. We're going to try and go again next year if we can. We both love going, its such a good day out!
A lot of the acts we saw got through, whether we'll see them on TV or not is a different story. There was a lot of audition participation throughout the whole show which I really enjoyed. On the break, like I said before, two judges came and spoke to us and David had selfies with people and even signed their books which was pretty cool of him.
Our tickets were from Applause Store.
Let me know if you have been to any TV recordings in the comments below!
I try
my hardest to create content I think will help out everyone interested. My reviews
are 100% honest and all my own opinion. Unless stated, I've paid for products with my own money.
I originally got this product just as a quick make-up
remover for when I’m being lazy and because it was on offer but it's now become part
of my skin care routine. I use this along side Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser and it works a treat for me. I put a little bit of the micellar water on a cotton pad and hold it on my eye for around 10 seconds and wipe away. Believe it or not, it gets rid of every last trace of eye makeup. I personally don't use this for my base make-up just because I don't like the way it feels once my makeup is all off. Garnier say "Micellar Cleansing Water comes in a generous 400ml format for up to 200 uses*." - I'd say this is pretty accurate, it takes me a good few months to get through a 400ml size. It's usually on offer in either Superdrug or Boots for around £3/4 for the 400ml size. It's an absolute steal if you ask me! You can get it in 3 different sizes (700ml, 400ml and 125ml).
Aaaaand I'm back again with another very delayed music monthly! As some of you may know I create monthly playlists on my spotify account (robynpugh_ for those wondering) (get that promo) and then at the end of the year I put them all into a playlist and that's my playlist for that year! I've done this for two years now and I've loved doing it. Here's what I've been loving throughout January:
Its nearly the end of the month and I haven't done a blog post in a while so I decided to my monthly music favourites as I haven't done one of these since July '14! Thats crazy. So, here goes! This is everything I've being loving this month.
Kanye West - Only One.
Simply, my favourite song this month. Not completely sure why I love it so much.. I'm not a huge fan of Kanye West but after hearing this song and then seeing the video I think I've changed my mind!
Matt The Electrician - Jesse's Girl.
I heard this song last year and I listened to it on repeat for about a week then I totally forgot it even existed. I was making a playlist on Spotify a few weeks back and re-discovered it all over again. I'd never heard of 'Matt The Electrician' before but I'm sold, his voice is a-ma-zing!
The 1975 - So Far (It's Alright)
If you know me you'll know my undying love for The 1975. They're just great. Matty's voice just makes me happy. If you've never listened to them first of all.. why?? and second of all get yourself on YouTube and take a listen!
Death Cab for Cutie - I Will Follow You Into The Dark.
I've heard so many covers of this song but I love the original version.
George Ezra - Drawing Board.
Hallelujah!! Finally at my favourite song of the month. I l o v e George Ezra so much, he's just the cutest! I got his album after giving it a listen on Spotify and now it's all I listen to when I'm getting ready to go out, when I'm in the car, when I'm at the gym.. It's great. I'm super gutted George didn't win anything at the Brits though :-(
Milky Chance - Flashed Junk Mind.
There's no way I couldn't love this song, it's on every radio station and every playlist I come across! I'd never heard of the duo before this song but I'm glad I have now. Great song and good-looking duo.. haha
Thought I'd give my take on the "TOP 5" tag that has been going around the blog-o-sphere! I'll be doing a Top 5 Drugstore Lip Products, Top 5 Drugstore Foundations and Top 5 Drugstore Highlighters. Some of them might be a Top 4 though (woopsie!!) Hope you enjoy the Top 5 series!
Are there any blogposts you would like to see? Let me know in the comments below!
It's been a little over a month since I last posted and I have no excuses as to why I haven't posted anything in a while so I'm just gonna get straight into a new blog post.
I've been wanting to do a TAG blog post for a while so why not start with this one!?
1. What is your favourite drugstore make-up brand?
Considering that I'm more of a drugstore girl (the cheaper the better as I'm a student) this has got to be the hardest question on this tag. I think Maybelline or MUA has got to be my favourite brand!
2. What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?
Without a doubt my top two favourite face products have got to be L'oreal infallible 24H foundation and Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Translucent. My favourite cheek product is the MUA powder blushers, I really like the shade Bon Bon - it suits my pale skin well. Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Tint in Nothing but Nude is my all time favourite lip product!
3. Least favourite product?
My least favourite is the MUA eyeshadow trio in Innocence, the packaging and formula are awful but I guess you never know until you try it!
4. The best make-up bargain?
My best make-up bargain is from an online shop but it's Maybelline Colossal Mascara in Blackest Black, you can always find a deal on it whether it's 3 for 2 or Buy one and get one half price.
5. What is your favourite underdog product?
For sure ModelsOwn moisturising lip balm in Bubblegum, not only does it have the nicest smell but it keeps your lips moisturised throughout the day.
6. A drugstore product that is overpriced?
I love them but for sure the Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butters!
7. What is your best drugstore dupe?
MUA Lipsticks, The pigment and shades are practically the same as MAC just a lot cheaper!
8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?
I use it most days but it isn't worth the hype at all.. MUA undress your skin shimmer highlighter.
And that's the TAG complete, I really enjoyed it. I had a rummage through my make-up drawers and found things I thought I had lost. Seriously.. If you're a make-up hoarder like me I urge you to do this TAG, just like me you might find something you thought you had lost!
