I'm just a few days early with my February Favourites. Better than being a few days late, I suppose? Here's everything I've been loving this month.

Spectrum B04 - I got this back in December at Clothes Show. The whole Spectrum Brushes stand was on 3 for 2 which was absolutely amazing. If I had extra money I would have bought a lot more! I've started to wear different eyeshadow everyday recently, I'm lovinggg it. This brush is the one I go to to blend and pack on colour in the crease. After having a look on their website at more brushes the 'B' Brushes are designed specifically for Blending and Buffing, no wonder it's so bloomin' good. The bristles are sooo soft, they pack colour on so well. I can't wait to get some more Spectrum 'B' brushes. The brand are vegan registered and cruelty free, bonus!! You can get the brush here.

This is a staple in my everyday routine, I love it every month but this month I've been loving it even more. Not only is this super easy and takes less than a minute to moisturise your whole body it leaves you with a lovely sheen to your skin. I've been given a lot of compliments on how healthy my skin looks ever since I've used this! Deffo a re-purchase item for me! It's sold in most supermarkets and Superdrug/Boots.

I'm OBSESSED with this highlighter. M.A.C outdid themselves with this one, there isn't a day I don't wear it. It's just sooooo pretty. It's perfect for my skin tone (so if you are as pale as I am, this will suit you!) I use this on my brow bone, cupids bow, cheek bones, down my nose and on the tip of my nose and it doesn't look overpowering in the slightest, although, even if it did I wouldn't care too much. If anyone knows of a cheaper dupe, let me know I'd love to give it a try! This shade is LightScapade and you can get it here.

I got this palette at the start of the month and I was really anxious to use it. I thought it was mega pretty and the colours were stunning but I didn't think I'd be able to pull most of these colours off, but the one day I just thought I've paid nearly £50 for it so I need to use it. The next day I used Thanks A Latte all over my lid, Wine N Dine in the crease, Teddy Bear in the outer V and Cranberry splash just along my lash line and then used liquid liner over it. The next day I decided to use Hashtag and Toffee, I've not stopped experimenting with colours since! I love this palette so much and it was well worth the money. If you can get your paws on it, I'd definitely recommend spending the money.

There are a few things I couldn't photograph but need a little mention. The first of those things are TED Talks. I'm a little obsessed with watching/listening to them. I've learnt so much from listening it's so crazy, I never thought I'd be interested in hearing someone talk about their life - which didn't impact me at all (selfish, I know.) I usually put them on for background noise while I'm doing university work or blogger stuff but then I can't stop listening! I definitely recommend giving a few a listen. You'll be hooked, believe me.

The next thing I've been hooked on is the Samika YouTube Channel. I've had a few interactions with Sam via Twitter. I've been following Sam and Jennika's family vlog for around 2 years now and there hasn't been a vlog that I've missed.

If I've not been listening to TED talks or watching Samika I've been listening to Alex Aiono and/or William Singe. I'm well and truly hooked on their music. My favourite song this month has to be Work The Middle by Alex and my runner up has to be Rush by William. Give them a little listen if you can!

What have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments below.

I finally got my hands on the beaut Violet Voss Holy Grail palette. I saw it last year on a random makeup page on instagram and I instantly fell in love with it. I knew I had to have it. I tried different ways to get it and they all fell through or I'd missed out on it.

This is by far my favourite palette I own, it was well worth £45. I've seen people sell them on ebay and depop for twice the price.. I waited until BeautyBay restocked it and like I said before, I was lucky enough to get my paws on it. It seems that I was fortunate enough to get the new packaging - I've heard a few rumours about the old packaging getting dirty easily.

Left to right: So jelly, R U Kitten Me, Thanks A Latte and Bat my Eyes.

This is the first product from Violet Voss that I've tried and I'm super impressed, I can't wait to try out more products from them. I love the texture of the eyeshadows, they aren't too chalky or too soft.
After doing a lil bit of research about them I found out that this palette is cruelty free! There isn't a colour in the palette that I wouldn't wear. My favourite shade has to be Wine N Dine, I can't wait to do a look with it. All shades are highly pigmented even the shimmers.

When I've experimented with the colours in this palette a bit more I'll definitely create a blogpost on a look for you all.

Let me know if you've tried this palette out or any other Violet Voss products below!

I try my hardest to create content I think will help out everyone interested. My reviews are 100% honest and all my own opinion. Unless stated, I've paid for products with my own money.

I originally got this product just as a quick make-up remover for when I’m being lazy and because it was on offer but it's now become part of my skin care routine. I use this along side Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser and it works a treat for me. I put a little bit of the micellar water on a cotton pad and hold it on my eye for around 10 seconds and wipe away. Believe it or not, it gets rid of every last trace of eye makeup. I personally don't use this for my base make-up just because I don't like the way it feels once my makeup is all off.

Garnier say "Micellar Cleansing Water comes in a generous 400ml format for up to 200 uses*." - I'd say this is pretty accurate, it takes me a good few months to get through a 400ml size.  It's usually on offer in either Superdrug or Boots for around £3/4 for the 400ml size. It's an absolute steal if you ask me! You can get it in 3 different sizes (700ml, 400ml and 125ml).

Superdrug / Boots

I'd definitely recommend!

I've not done one of these in a while. Lets be honest, I've not been blogging for a while so I suppose I'm let off the hook? For the past year or two I've been making monthly playlists on my spotify
(user: robynpugh_) and then when it comes to the end of the year I put them all into one playlist for that year. I loved doing it last year, I see how much my taste in music varies.

Up To You - Chris Brown.
I know this is an oldie but its a goldie! I was listening to his F.A.M.E album and I instantly remembered how much I loved this song.

U Dont Have To Call - Usher.
Again, an oldie but a goldie. I thank Conor Maynard and Jack Maynard for this being in my July music monthly favourites.

Toothbrush - DNCE.
I randomly came across this track about a week or two ago and I've not stopped singing it since I heard it. It's super catchy and just as good as 'Cake By The Ocean'.

Only Wanna Be With You (Unplugged) - Samm Henshaw.
I saw Samm and the guys (with two M's, why? because he cant spell. His words, not mine.) back in Feb supporting Tori Kelly, he was bloody brilliant! I've not stopped listening to his stuff since then but this has to be my favourite. He owns the stage as soon as he's on it, his voice is utterly amazing. I can't wait to go and see him again soon. I, unfortunately, was too shy to go and talk to him after the gig, but we've had some interaction via twitter.

Tears - Clean Bandit ft Louisa Johnson.
Such a good song, I didn't really watch much of the X Factor when Louisa was on it but she's got a stunning voice and I think this collaboration was a good one, I must say.

It's been a while since I last did a blogpost, every time I say "I'm back!" I put a curse on myself and never actually carry on blogging. University truly does take over your life, I have a really hands-on course. Only one year left though!

I went into town to meet a friend for a drink a few weeks back and I didn't really think we were going to look around the shops as our town is getting knocked down to be re-built, which should be pretty cool when it's all finished. But that aside I wondered into a Superdrug that was in a little corner surrounded by huge boards and saw they had a fully stocked MakeUp Revolution counter! I've been looking at some of their palettes online for a while and lusting over them but never actually taking the plunge and buying them. So I decided to buy two!

I've been loving eyeshadows recently and as soon as I saw this all mattes palette I was sold. The colours are beautiful and really compliment my eye colour.

The second thing that caught my eye was this beautiful highlighter palette. In my opinion, I believe this palette has a colour to suit all skin tones. I use the middle one as I think it best suits my pale skin. The pay off is stunning and stays all day. I'd recommend both palettes.

Where have I been I hear you ask, well never fear I'm back! I took some time off from blogging because I simply had bloggers block. I've been trying to gather ideas for posts while I've been away and I think I have a few I can go on with until the next dreaded bloggers block. I hope you keep on reading and enjoy whats coming up in the next couple of months.

Whats new? - I started at university in October and I was convinced I would hate it and that I'd drop out but it's been a little over a month and I'm completely in love with it. I never thought the university path would be for me as I started to dread any form of education earlier this year. I'm currently studying Fashion and Textiles. It's great, I've had a few ups and downs with my anxiety while being at university but nevertheless I've overcome it. If any of you have any questions about university - don't be afraid to message/tweet me I'd love to answer your questions.

Whats going to happen next? - I don't completely know myself yet, all I do know is I wont be posting as frequently as I used to. Throughout the summer I posted nearly everyday sometimes even twice in one day but now I'm caught up with working, university and having to juggle time to see friends and family - I'll post when I can. There will be some posts that will be set to post at certain times as where I work gets super busy around the Christmas period and I'm needed nearly everyday.

My aim is to give honest reviews. I don't ever mean to slate someones product or brand, I'm just here to be truthful about what I'm reviewing.

I've been testing out this mud mask for the past couple of days and I've seen a difference in my skin but unfortunately the formula doesn't sit well with my skin/skin type. (My skin type is combination - oily to normal) The first time I used it I felt a burning sensation on my cheeks so I immediately washed it off. I thought 'oh it might just be the witch hazel working into my skin' so I tried it again for the second time and it was burning my cheeks again but not my T-zone. It made my cheeks very blotchy, red and sore. I stupidly tried it out for a third time but this time just on my T-zone and I've noticed a difference. I broke out about a week ago all over my chin and my spots have reduced in size and the redness has nearly gone. Even though it left my skin blotchy and red I kept persevering with this product and I can no longer feel a weird sensation when it's applied and I no longer am left with red/blotchy marks once it's been removed. I recommend using this product once a week in conjunction with your normal skin care routine.

I cant wait to try some more of Superdrug's face mask range. They're super inexpensive and cruelty free so that's a huge plus!

Have you tried any of the other face masks in Superdrug's own range? If so let me know! I'd love to hear what you think of them.
