As the V Festival Line Up is going to be announced soon, I thought I'd write a little post about my experience there! I look a lot of photos on a disposable camera - so a few of the photos might be a little grainy, just to pre-warn you.

2016 was my first experience of V Fest, I only went for the one day, which was the Sunday, but it was amazing. We went to Weston Park in Staffordshire, considering I live quite close to there I'd never been before. It was a huge site and we got lost a few times (even with a map). Justin Bieber was headlining which was fun! If you read any celebrity news you'll know that he's known for being a little late on stage and messing about instead of singing aaaaand, his set was delayed by around 15 minutes aaaaaand he did have a conversation about Pop Tarts with a dancer. But I can say he was a great headliner. Although I couldn't see much (small girl problems) I still enjoyed his set. He came on around 15 minutes after he was meant to and he did all his recent songs from Purpose and even a few from My World!

Heres a snap of me and my best friend! The weather was all over the place that day. We went from being in the blazing sun and even getting a little sun burnt to it tipping it down. It was that hot that I asked someone to cut my wellies in half - which I later regretted. I still enjoyed the day regardless of the weather!

I had 3 artists I definitely wanted to see that day, (Justin Bieber, Troye Sivan and John Newman) and they all gave a brilliant set in my opinion. The first artist I wanted to see was Troye Sivan. His set was crazy good. I loved every minute of it. Although it was raining heavily while we were waiting for him to come on stage, I didn't care! I was SO excited to see him. He sang mainly songs from the Blue Neighbourhood album but he did sing Happy Little Pill from the TRXYE EP.

The second artist I was eager to see was John Newman. If you know me, you'll know how much I love him. Theres just something about John that I love! His energy on stage was crazy. He even made me cry. John put on an amazing set, he sang classics from the Revolve album and Tribute. I saw a sneaky post on his Instagram of a "Album 3" picture, I'm so excited to hear it and I hope to see John again soon.

There were a lot of stalls full of novelty things which were quite fun to look around. We all had cute little bracelets to remember the day - they were ugly but we loved them! My friend, as you can see, bought a jumper from the one stall which was my favourite. Haha. Louise and Corey found these huge headdresses that cost a ridiculous amount but they had fun trying them on.

I recommend going! Just take a raincoat and wellies.

I've not done one of these in a while. Lets be honest, I've not been blogging for a while so I suppose I'm let off the hook? For the past year or two I've been making monthly playlists on my spotify
(user: robynpugh_) and then when it comes to the end of the year I put them all into one playlist for that year. I loved doing it last year, I see how much my taste in music varies.

Up To You - Chris Brown.
I know this is an oldie but its a goldie! I was listening to his F.A.M.E album and I instantly remembered how much I loved this song.

U Dont Have To Call - Usher.
Again, an oldie but a goldie. I thank Conor Maynard and Jack Maynard for this being in my July music monthly favourites.

Toothbrush - DNCE.
I randomly came across this track about a week or two ago and I've not stopped singing it since I heard it. It's super catchy and just as good as 'Cake By The Ocean'.

Only Wanna Be With You (Unplugged) - Samm Henshaw.
I saw Samm and the guys (with two M's, why? because he cant spell. His words, not mine.) back in Feb supporting Tori Kelly, he was bloody brilliant! I've not stopped listening to his stuff since then but this has to be my favourite. He owns the stage as soon as he's on it, his voice is utterly amazing. I can't wait to go and see him again soon. I, unfortunately, was too shy to go and talk to him after the gig, but we've had some interaction via twitter.

Tears - Clean Bandit ft Louisa Johnson.
Such a good song, I didn't really watch much of the X Factor when Louisa was on it but she's got a stunning voice and I think this collaboration was a good one, I must say.

Its nearly the end of the month and I haven't done a blog post in a while so I decided to my monthly music favourites as I haven't done one of these since July '14! Thats crazy. So, here goes! This is everything I've being loving this month.

Kanye West - Only One.

Simply, my favourite song this month. Not completely sure why I love it so much.. I'm not a huge fan of Kanye West but after hearing this song and then seeing the video I think I've changed my mind!

Matt The Electrician - Jesse's Girl.

I heard this song last year and I listened to it on repeat for about a week then I totally forgot it even existed. I was making a playlist on Spotify a few weeks back and re-discovered it all over again. I'd never heard of 'Matt The Electrician' before but I'm sold, his voice is a-ma-zing!

The 1975 - So Far (It's Alright)

If you know me you'll know my undying love for The 1975. They're just great. Matty's voice just makes me happy. If you've never listened to them first of all.. why?? and second of all get yourself on YouTube and take a listen!

Death Cab for Cutie - I Will Follow You Into The Dark.

I've heard so many covers of this song but I love the original version.

George Ezra - Drawing Board.

Hallelujah!! Finally at my favourite song of the month. I l o v e George Ezra so much, he's just the cutest! I got his album after giving it a listen on Spotify and now it's all I listen to when I'm getting ready to go out, when I'm in the car, when I'm at the gym.. It's great. I'm super gutted George didn't win anything at the Brits though :-(

Milky Chance - Flashed Junk Mind.

There's no way I couldn't love this song, it's on every radio station and every playlist I come across! I'd never heard of the duo before this song but I'm glad I have now. Great song and good-looking duo.. haha

And again.. Robyn fails at a blog series. No surprise there! But I am back with MMF for this month! MMF is just a Monthly Music Favourite playlist, songs I've been loving this month that I wanted to share with you all.

5SOS - EIGHTEEN
Theres no surprise the 5sos boys are in this playlist, I love them. This song has been wondering around YouTube for a while (that i know of) and every time it comes up in the suggestion box I end up listening to it! Give it a listen, the link is the title and pick up the boys album now ;-)

KATY PERRY - BIRTHDAY
This song was in my May Favourites and I still haven't stopped listening to it! Its my birthday this week and there's no doubt about it i'll be singing this, haha.

DEMI LOVATO FT. CHER LLOYD - REALLY DON'T CARE
All hail Queen D. Demi has always been my favourite female artist and then she teamed up with Cher on her latest album "DEMI" for this track, when I got the album this song was always the one I would skip tracks to listen to. I love the lyric video and I love the official video even more.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - NOT A BAD THING
Justin Timberlake is such a great artist. I love his album and I'm so glad he's released this song as a single.

GEORGE EZRA - BUDAPEST
I've been watching some interviews with George in lately and I'm so glad I did. He explained that he tries to make sure in his EPs and Songs that there's a "story" (A start, a middle and a ending). Since listening to some of his EPs I've noticed that there seems to be a story to them. I really enjoy listening to George's voice theres something really nice about it.

Just a quick blog post from me today, I'm very sorry that I haven't been posting much lately but again there is a valid reason. I'll hopefully be posting more in the next couple of months.

The long awaited January Favourites is here, I hadn't used anything different or new last month but here's my January favourites anyway.

So the first item I was loving last month was Our Moment // One Direction, I love the scent it's so nice. If you ever get the chance to give it a sniff, do so. It's a light perfume which I like and I also love the fact that the liquid is Pink!

This has by far been my favourite lip gloss to wear both with lipstick and without. The colour goes with anything, I call it my "nude lipgloss" To you it's probably not nude at all but it is to me considering I'm always wearing dark or bright colours on my lips!

This is by far the best foundation I've ever had, pair it with Porefessional and you're good to go for the whole day. The colours are good matches from what I've seen for myself and I've heard. They changed the packaging not so long ago and I love the new packaging It doesn't take up so much room in my Make-Up bag.

My non beauty related favourite this month is The Vamps, I'm a huge fangirl for The Vamps as everyone knows, there's no surprise their in my favourites this month.

My last favourite for the past month has been my Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya, It's such a lovely shear peachy colour. If you ever get to swatch it, do so!

My plan was to do a montly music favourite post every month but as you can see I haven't done one since October, which I'm sorry about but better late than never!

MKTO - CLASSIC
listen here
My first music montly favourite is MKTO - Classic to my knowledge it's been out a while but not been in the charts here in the UK. I found this song by browsing through 8tracks. I love the song it's so catchy. Give it a listen and let me know what you think.

FALL OUT BOY - ALONE TOGETHER
listen here
When I was younger I was obsessed with FOB major, I don't particularly listen to them much anymore but when I stumbled across this song I automatically fell in love. I could listen to this song on repeat all day. Such a good song. 10/10 from me.

MICHAEL BUBLÉ - CHRISTMAS (BABY PLEASE COME HOME)
listen here
Since it's December I whipped out the Michael Bublé Christmas album. On the 1st December I had already started listening to it, I love it so much. Any chance I get during the Christmas season it will be on, no doubt about it! Michael Bublé comes across as such a nice man so I will always have time to listen to him!

ONE DIRECTION - HAPPILY
listen here
I love One Direction so much they're just so cute! I couldn't resist having a listen to Midnight Memories and I've fallen in love with this song, so catchy. I listened to it once and I knew the lyrics straight away (probably because I'm such a fangirl for them) but take a listen and let me know what you think.

HOODIE ALLEN - EIGHTEEN COOL
listen here
Hoodie is such a great artist, I only really started listening to him because of JC (from O2L) he kept adding in about 10 second clips of his songs to make montages so I had to find the song - Thank goodness for top YouTube comments!

I MISS YOU - 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER (BLINK COVER)
listen here
When I was younger I was quite a big fan of Blink 182 and this happened to be my favourite song, as I've gotten older my love for them kind of died. I'm now a big fan of 5 Seconds of Summer after seeing them at the One Direction concert. This cover is just a bit different to what i usually expect from 5SOS.

WILDHEART - THE VAMPS
listen here
I am in love with The Vamps, I've been a fan of them for just over a year - I've met the boys 4 times in total and seen them live three times. They're such lovely boys - Fan-girling aside this song is one of my favourites of all time, it reminds me of when they wasn't such a big band and nobody knew of them, I'm not sure why. The video to this song is out 4th Dec! Their EP is out now - check it out.

LOVE IS ON THE RADIO - MCFLY
listen here
I've been a huge fan of McFLY for years, I've seen them live numerous times. I feel like this isn't something they would usually do.. but in all honesty the song has grown on me I love it. If this is a taster for album six then I cant wait for it, it's going to be amazing.

BEAUTIFUL LIFE - UNION J
listen here
I've never been a great fan of the Union J boys but lately I've started to get into them more - all because of this song. It's such a feel good song. George Shelley's voice is so perfect it's unreal. I've seen them twice this year they're so good live. If you ever get the chance to go and see them - do it.

SEX - THE 1975
listen here
I've only been listening to The 1975 for a short period of time, I heard 'Chocolate' first and I loved it. I thought i'd listen to their other songs and this is my favourite by far. I'm so glad im aware of this band now, they're amazing.
